Kicks Spring Soccer in Cedar City

Season Dates: Mid March 2009 through April 2009
Cost: $40 for returning players using their old uniforms. $50 for new players or returning players needing a uniform.
Game Days: One week night and Saturday games.
Fields: Bicentennial Soccer Fields behind the cemetery.
Play Level: Recreational w/volunteer coaches.
Team Size: Depends on age and the number of kids that sign up. Small sized teams ensure that every child gets more play time with the ball!!
Ages: You must be at least 4 years old on 7/31/2008 and not yet 12 by 8/1/2009.
Team Requests: We will continue to honor team requests wherever possible tand to form teams by neighborhood. If you'd like to form your own team from your neighborhood, please turn in applications together in one packet.

Philosophy:

Southern Utah Soccer Association is dedicated to providing a FUN, yet challenging and supportive soccer environment for children in the Southern Utah region. Each child is challenged at a level appropriate for his or her stage of development. Southern Utah Soccer Association is professionally managed but relies on the support of volunteers to keep its cost low and its value high. Southern Utah Soccer Association prides itself in offering the most enjoyable and rewarding soccer experience for our players, coaches and families in the Southern Utah Area. Teams will be formed by age and location in which players live. Kids may play with their friends and neighbors. "KICKS" follows the guidelines for recreation soccer set by Utah Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer. "KICKS" operates under the simple belief that kids learn by playing. Every child plays virtually 100% of the time in practices and at least 50% in games. The Southern Utah Soccer Association is dedicated to providing a developmentally appropriate and fun-filled environment.

Player Information:

Please mail your registration and your check for $40 if you are a returning player AND are using your old uniform or $50 if you are a new player or need a new uniform to the PO Box below or come to the soccer sign-ups listed above. If you are mailing in your registration, please make sure it arrives before Nov. 8, 2008. IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP LATER THAN NOV. 8, 2008, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FEE IS $60 REGARDLESS IF YOU ARE A NEW OR RETURNING PLAYER. DEADLINE FOR SIGN-UPS is Jan. 15, 2009.
